The Al-Kut High Way Ring Road

The Al-Kut Ring Road is a key highway and infrastructure project that links Baghdad Governorate with the central and southern governorates of Iraq. It plays a crucial role in facilitating the movement of trucks carrying goods from the ports of Basrah and various border crossings. The project involves the construction of a 20-kilometre road, featuring around 30 bridges and five interchanges. This strategic development is expected to enhance trade efficiency and reduce traffic accidents in the region. The highway includes three major bridges: the Kut Entrance Bridge and the Kut-Badra Intersection Bridge, each 65 metres long, and the Kut-Amarah Entrance Bridge, which spans 90 metres.
